The Ukrainian immersive storyteller and media artist Sophia Bulgakova opens the gates to the Otherworlds standing on the border of hallucinogenic visions and reality. In her multidimensional participatory performance in mixed reality, she combines Ukrainian traditions and pagan rituals with other magical practices and new technologies. The artist maintains the intentions of ritual practices, but also creates a new visual experience that offers tools for personal and community transformation. The project seeks common ground for revitalization and a new understanding of human relationships. It also aims to find new connections with nature, technology and ourselves.
