Johanna and her husband Paul have been trying for a baby for ten years. Sadly, on the few occasions she managed to get pregnant, things didn't go as planned - she miscarried. Despite this experience being common for a high percentage of women (approximately one in eight pregnancies ends with miscarriage), it remains a taboo. In this animated VR documentary film, Johanna bravely decides to break the silence by sharing her feelings of loss and grief, but also by talking about the bodily experiences that are the inevitable part of the process of miscarriage. Through sensitive animations, we get to meet not only Johanna, but also the embryo she gets to hold and say goodbye to.
