How does it feel to be scared to walk outside at night, fearing every man that passes by? Or to be randomly catcalled in the street, making it clear that someone perceives you as a sexual object? Most women don’t need to imagine these scenarios, because they are a part of their daily life. The interactive experience Draw for Change! We Exist, We Resist not only explains these situations from women’s perspective, but, most importantly, suggests the possible path of resistance. Following the creative process of the Mexican cartoonist Maremoto, this project shows the power of creativity and protest in fighting for the rights of women and queer people.
