Craig Quintero is an American-Taiwanese director who has been working in alternative theater for many years. However, in his latest three works, he moved into virtual reality and created a trilogy with his company Riverbed Theatre called "Just For You". A Simple Silence is the final piece of this trilogy, which builds on an uncanny Lynchian aesthetic, original set design within a 360° cinematic space, and a tricky play on the contrasting abilities of 'seeing' and 'being seen'. In the last part of the trilogy, the author lays bare the life-changing feeling that being silent and observing silence seems at first glance an easy challenge, but is in fact almost unattainable for many of us.
